Brow Pre-care
Things to AVOID prior to your semi-permanent cosmetic procedure:
Drinking alcoholic beverages or caffeinated drinks 24 hours prior to your appointment. Consuming too much alcohol or caffeine acts as a blood-thinner. It may cause bleeding, which will reduce the pigment absorption, resulting in poor color retention.
Taking Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, or Advil/Ibuprofen (Consult your physician before you stop taking any medication)
Brow waxing or tinting two weeks prior to your appointment; however, you may get your brows threaded
Tanning one week prior to your appointment
Botox or fillers 6 weeks prior to and after your appointment
Using Accutane; you must wait at least one year before receiving the brow microshading procedure.
Microdermabrasion or dermaplaning 2 weeks prior to your appointment
Moisturizing the brow area the day of your appointment
Using Glycolic acids, Chemical Peels, and/or Retin-A on or near your brows 2 weeks prior to and after your appointment. These products/procedures could cause brow pigment to fade quickly.
